1. Data Controller

Brøyt Fauske AS is the data controller for personal data collected through Odds Companion PRO and oddscompanionpro.com. Contact: post@oddscompanionpro.com.

2. What Data We Collect

Purchase and License

When you purchase Odds Companion PRO, Lemon Squeezy collects payment information (name, email, payment method) on our behalf. We receive your email address, order details and license key. We do not store credit card or bank details.

License Activation

When you activate the app, a hashed device identifier is generated locally. This hash is used to enforce the activation limit (up to 2 machines). The hash cannot be used to identify your machine or its contents.

Support Communication

If you contact support, we process the information you provide (name, email, message content) to handle your inquiry.

Website

The website may use standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). The Google Translate widget on the website is provided by Google and may set cookies according to Google’s privacy policy.

3. Why We Process Your Data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• To deliver the product and license key after purchase.
• To enforce license activation limits.
• To provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations (accounting, tax).

4. Legal Basis

Our legal basis for processing personal data is performance of contract (delivering the product you purchased), legitimate interest (license enforcement, support) and legal obligation (accounting).

5. Third Parties

We share personal data with the following third parties as necessary:

• Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing, order management and license key delivery. See Lemon Squeezy’s Privacy Policy.
• API-Football: If you use the app with API-Football, your API key and requests are sent directly to API-Football from the app. Brøyt Fauske AS does not access your API-Football account.
• Google: The Google Translate widget on the website may process visitor data according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

Purchase and license data is retained for as long as your license is active and for up to 5 years after for accounting purposes as required by Norwegian law. Support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years. Device activation hashes are retained for as long as the activation is active.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and Norwegian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Data portability where applicable.

To exercise your rights, contact post@oddscompanionpro.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal data. License keys are not stored in plaintext in the app. Device identifiers are hashed before transmission. Payment data is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy and is not stored by us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Significant changes will be communicated by email where possible.
